Purpose:

Review and possibly select an Electronic Medical Record, a.k.a. EMR,  for Family HealthCare Associates. This site is the official bulletin board for the EMR Committee.  It serves to keep all committee members and our 54 providers over our 11 offices of FHCA current with selection process.

Family HealthCare Associates is comprised of clinics across the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex.  This includes clinics in Allen, Arlington , Colleyville, Fort Worth, Garland, Keller, Mansfield, Plano, and Richardson Texas.

04/02/07	Board discussed timing of implementation.  Proposed date 3/08 or 4/08 for first office roll-out suggested.  Full proposed time line.  This must be approved by the Board.
03/19/07 04/02/07	Meetings with GE
03/28/07	Meeting with Misys
03/08/07	Meeting with NextGen
03/2007	Re-included GE after extensive discussions with Jean, JA and GE to answer concerns.  Therefore, finalists are GE, Misys, and NextGen.
12/18/06	Board Meeting to review progress
12/14/06	Meeting to resolve issues with remaining two candidates Misys Emr and NextGen. - completed
